Just a quick rant, I know I haven't updated in a while.
Can I make a suggestion?
If you're pro-life, don't kill an abortion doctor.
That should be a no duh, to the jack ass murderer.
JEEZ LOUISE.

Closing Doors opens New Ones?
Well, Oak Tree blockbuster is officially closing it's doors to renters on February 8th.
I'm pretty sure I knew it was coming, but I'm still bummed about it. We weren't making enough money to make the company happy - ironically, we're one of two stores in the whole district to bonus.
The DM said we bonused because they budgeted us to lose money - but if we didn't lose as much money as they thought we'd lose, doesn't that count as us turning this store around?
Crown Hill got its second chance, I guess Oak Tree doesn't.
Originally, Kyle and Anita weren't sure were they were going, and the DM said that all of us were going to Greenwood. However, rumour says that Kyle and Anita caught the DM in a lie to Anita - though I'm not sure what that was.
Also, it seems we aren't all going to Greenwood. Rei may be going to Crown Hill. I think Jimmy and Brandon are going to Greenwood still. Rei called me and asked if I wanted to go to Aurora, because Greenwood management is a little shaky right now.
But there's no way I'd ever work with Dani again.
So maybe Greenwood, maybe somewhere else.
Not Lake City though.
Oh God, not Lake City.
Other than that, though, life's just fine. Alex gets Saturday Sunday off, and I only work in the morning on Saturday. Then we have all of Sunday to ourselves.
Also I drove the Civic today. Omigoodness I miss power steering, and the powerful kick that little car has. Le sigh.

Broken Resolutions
I went and saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Monday night. That movie was incredible. I'd go so far as to call it life changing. I don't think Alex really got it, but that movie tugs you this way and that. There were tears in my eyes when the movie ended.
I owe Richard five dollars.
It was so amazing, I just can't even describe. If you've seen it, kudos. If not, I strongly suggest you do so.
Tonight I'm have a select few friends over for a small, alcohol free party. It should be fun♥
New Years is such a strange holiday, isn't it? It's basically the world celebrating the fact that we've survived another year, wondering how many we have left. So many people feel that since it's a new year, they can start on a fresh slate - thus the billions of new years resolutions that are made.
And soon, there will be billions of new years resolutions broken.
January is the busiest time of the year for new gym memberships.
And March is, reportedly, when more than half of those new memberships quit.
It's funny, but kind of sad at the same time.

Cheesecake and Nintendo
Oh. My. Goodness.
Yesterday Alex, Jimmy, Richard, Rei, Andy, and I went and saw Bedtime Stories and it was so cute! I strongly recommend it to anyone who has any fun left in their soul. :]
I also realized my dream. A dream I've had for a while, but is only now surfacing. A dream to go to the Cheesecake Factory. Oh, and the Circus.
Also, I found out they have NDS games that can teach you languages! How amazingly awesomely super duper radically astounding is that?! I've already ordered My Japanese Coach and My French Coach. Depending on how it goes, I may order more. Oh, so many more. I love languages.
Alex got his laptop finally - a super pretty golden brown one, with gold letters on the keys - which is pretty kickass. He also is now the proud owner of a cobalt blue DS lite, so now we can play together. Wonderful!
There's not really much else to report, I suppose. Xander was cranky all day, but didn't do anything new. OH and he picked his spoon up out of the baby food, but then he just shook it all over the place. But it was cute~

A Perfect Christmas
I'm posting about Christmas today, because yesterday I was busy doing nothing. It was pretty perfect. I got the camera I really wanted, and my parents bought me a pimped out stroller, which I wasn't even expecting. So I'm stoked.
Alex bought me Guitar Hero World Tour for the DS, and Mario Party 8, and Kirby Superstar, and I am STOOOOKED.
And I got an Ebay Giftcard, and an Amazon giftcard, and some ADORABLE fish skeleton earrings, and some blurays I really wanted (Wall-E, yay!). Bottom line, I'm stoked.
Xander was so silly. He (we) opened half his presents, and then he got too cranky to stay awake, so we put him to bed and opened our presents. Then he woke up, and finished opening his. Once all was open, he crawled over to the cupboard and started playing with the handle.
Sigh. Money well spent.
He does seem to love the Spiderman push around truck that he can sit on, which has an actual horn he can honk - which he does. Over and over again.
Today he stood up all by himself, which was so exciting! He was holding on to the sides of the cardboard box my mom's keyboard came in, and then got onto his feet, then stood up! And stayed standing for a good ten seconds!
He's going to be walking any day now!!
Anyways. Bottom line, I'm stoked.
I love life.
I love Alex.
Also I got a credit card, and Elite Beat Agents.
Which is exciting.
I'm excited

Almost Christmas!
It's almost Christmas! And what better time to start up a blog?
My name is Kristine, and the two most important people in the world, in my eyes, are Xander and Alex. Now, don't forget, this is important: Alex is the love of my life, and Xander is my son.
Christmas is almost here, and I couldn't be more excited. I bought so many presents for my mom, dad, sister, son, and boyfriend. Everyone's getting along reasonably well, and it'll be my first Christmas with both Alex and Xander.
Something confuses me about Christmas, though. Nearly everyone in America gets all worked up over buying that perfect gift for their special someone[s], and getting all their baking done, and getting the biggest Christmas tree. Throwing the word Christmas around.
Then those same people complain about "In God We Trust" being on our money, and "Under God" in our national pledge. I know there are the fanatics who picket against Christmas being a religious holiday, or whatever, but a lot less people complain about getting Christmas presents than about our money.
"Well, we don't celebrate it as a religious holiday."
I hear all the time.
Well, I also don't pass people money with the idea that my christian goodness and happy thoughts will be passed along with it, forcing my religion on people by paying them with currency that has the word "God" on it. I also can't remember the last time I stared at my money hard and long enough to see the word "God."
Huge flashing lights that say "Merry Christmas" on someone's lawn, along with an inflatable Santa Clause and a nativity scene, and maybe a star on the roof... that, in my opinion, catches my religious eye more aggressively than any change I get at the grocery store.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying "MAKE CHRISTMAS INTO PRESENTMAS or DEBTMAS or even SHOPMAS."
Just chill out, you guys.
In other news, I love Alex, Xander, my family, my friends.. and you ;D
